HONGKONG, a place for 24/7
action packed life, that’s what in my mind. Ask me why? Because as a kid, I
have heard about this big business center in Asia. Yes, from our small,
manually operated black and white tv (not yet given the luxury of coloured nor
remote controlled and now with the LED tv) I came to know about HK. It’s
alleys, high rise buildings as hide-out / den or that housed big smugglers and
some other big business rackets.
Honestly, I haven’t set my
feet on the grounds of HK. How can I ah? When my time isn’t even enough to
cover the things needed to be done.
I simply sat in the
verandah, sipping a glass of my favorite jack daniels, half-filled with crystal
clear ice cubes. No other way, got my eyes fixed on the magazine cover with the
front line “HONGKONG’s LIMELIGHT”. What else do I need? I closed my eyes and
geared up my mind…1, 2, 3… GO! Yup, I went all by myself, in solitude, no way
with someone else.. no disturbance in such a nice place as HK.
The greenery really
captured my interest. HK people have the same common practice of clean and
green environment. They preserved natural environment amidst the booming
high-rise skyscrapers and fast phase transportation and such respected-looking
population. I am in the midst of
carefully scrutinizing each and every single angle of this beautiful city when
I felt slight shaking then harder shakes. Is it an earthquake? Oh…
Oh… oh… somebody is
calling me, “lunch is ready, get up”. A voice, a savior.. and guess who? My
Mom. Such a real nice timing. And my whole HK dream gone. But surely I will
make my dream come true because I have started acting for my dreams.
GOOD LUCK :)
