STRAIGHT AHEAD
 

Elephant’s walking on the streets in our native is a normal sight. Tourist might have been awed by this but we as locals, its nothing extraordinary.
 

A fine morning while I was on my way to a department store, I particularly noticed a father and son tandem walking ahead of me. The son, more or less four years old saw the enormous elephant coming towards us. Although normally the elephants are tamed and always with the skilled elephant handler.

The son started to cry and pulling his father’s shirt and turning to the far right side, as if saying that he wants to go to that direction. The father just ignored him, holding his hands and kept on walking. The son cried even harder. The father was clueless and asked what’s the matter?. The boy reluctantly said he is scared with the elephant. The father reassured him nothing to worry about, nothing to fear, father is there and will take care of him and nothing wrong will happen to him. Still the son continued to cry. As reassurance, the father with full of care, love and understanding carried his son on his arms and walked straight to where they are headed.

 Friends, yes true, the father is with him but the truth is the child don’t fully believe his father. That’s what I feel, that’s the reason the son still wants to deviate to the direction which they are walking. 

 

  

 

 

Unless and until the son gives his full confidence to the father, they will never get to where they are heading. The son will struggle strongly. The elephant signifies fears and obstacles we face on a day-to-day life, which somehow will give a halt and divert our focus, delaying or losing our way. 

However, the father signifies reinforcement, the element which gives encouragement and pushes us to the right way in order to reach our goal. It’s simple people, unless and until we believe and have hope we can’t go forward in our dreams or achieve our goals.

 

Belief, trust, faith all these words have a HARD core meanings in every human’s LIFE, since we are born in this world with natures blessings.
 

First and foremost is BELIEF then is ACTION which is automatic…. that’s how it works.
